What does the assessment involve?+
A structured clinical assessment with a qualified ADHD clinician who reviews your history, current symptoms and how they affect your daily life, using recognised diagnostic criteria. You receive a written diagnostic report afterwards.
Who carries out the assessment?+
Assessments are completed by a qualified ADHD clinician. Our team has experience across mental health, general medicine, paediatrics and neurodevelopmental care, and works to recognised clinical standards.
What happens after diagnosis?+
If ADHD is diagnosed, your clinician will talk you through the next-steps and support options available and explain the recommended options. Any next steps are always your choice.
How are appointments held?+
Adult ADHD assessments are available online across the UK, held securely by video call.
Can my care move to my NHS GP?+
Afterwards, moving your ongoing care to your NHS GP can be requested, but it is always the GP's decision. If it is not accepted, we can continue to support your care where clinically appropriate.
Why is the assessment £895?+
Because it is a complete, regulated clinical service - not a questionnaire or a quick screening call. The £895 covers a full 2-hour specialist assessment with a qualified ADHD clinician, a detailed diagnostic report, the letters you need (including to your GP), and next-steps planning if ADHD is diagnosed. It is one clear, fixed price with the paperwork built in, rather than a low starting figure that grows appointment by appointment.
Is it worth paying more than cheaper services?+
We think so, for two reasons. First, a diagnosis you can rely on - completed by a qualified clinician to recognised standards - and a report others will take seriously. Second, the real cost. Cheaper services often keep the headline price low and add per-review charges and ongoing monthly fees afterwards, which usually adds up to far more over the first year. Our reviews are £35-£145 (and free for eligible patients), with a route toward lower-cost NHS care afterwards.
Can I spread the cost?+
To a degree, yes. A deposit is taken when you book to secure your appointment, with the balance due before the appointment itself - so it is not all payable in one go up front. If you would like to arrange instalments, that can be discussed directly with the clinic. Some people also book a few weeks ahead, which naturally gives more time to spread the payment before their appointment.
